Eligibility/Recoupment Analyst - Junior

Osi Vision is seeking a Junior Eligibility/Recoupment Analyst to provide GI Eligibility Processing Support to the Montgomery GI Bill Education Support Services contract. This position is located at the National Guard Profession Education Center (NGPEC), North Little Rock, Arkansas (AR).  

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Receive a request/recommendation form a State/DVA and use Government approved systems and databases to research that Soldier’s eligibility for all GI Bill program applicable to the Army National Guard (ARNG) including MGIB-SR (Chapter 1606), MGIB-SR Kicker, and Post-9/11 (Chapter 33). 
  • Provide the results of their analysis to the originator for action through the applicable Government systems daily. 
  • Results of the analysis shall be completed within 10 business days of the request. 
  • Receive a Transfer of Education Benefit (TEB) request from a Government approved system. 
  • Research that Soldier’s eligibility, provide counseling, and properly code entitlements for Spouses and Dependents of current and former ARNG Soldiers. 
  • Provide the results of their analysis to the originator for action through the applicable Government systems daily. 
  • Results of the analysis shall be completed within 10 business days of the request. 
  • Upon notification from the Government, verify Soldier eligibility for MGIB-AD (Chapter 30) GI Bill programs and process the election transaction in the approved Government system of record.  
  • The election transaction shall be completed within 10 business days of the request. Requests are expected to average 250 to 300 per month. 

Required Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma. 
  • 0 to 3 years’ experience performing similar duties in a military or civilian organization. 
  • Familiar with Enterprise Task Management Software Solutions (ETMS2, Task Management Tool (TMT), MS Teams, and Office 365 (A365). 
  • Capable of interacting with senior ARNG officers, NCOs, enlisted soldiers, and civilians. 
  • Possess Customer Service skills. 
  • Ability to execute error-free transactions associated with eligibility processing, administrative, and recoupment services. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • ARNG or U.S. Army military, civil service, or contractor experience preferred.
